JOB VACANCY: PROJECT MANAGER

IAI is looking for an experienced individual to fill a full-time position, responsible for various development projects, assignments and activities. This may include a multi-country project, aims to develop the accountancy profession in target countries, involving participation from and engagement with different stakeholders (local, regional and international). Effective management and communication skills are essential, supported with a strong work ethic, ability to adapt to different circumstances and respond to various challenges.

The successful candidate needs to have commanding leadership qualities, to lead, work and coordinate with other departments within IAI and different stakeholders involved in the projects. He/she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the assigned projects (including administrative), ensuring all aspects of each project are conducted according to the established term of references, delivered on time, within budget, and produce the desired results. Strong understanding of the accountancy profession is critical. He/she needs to possess a strong and proven project management experience and effective report writing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project action plans and activities and relevant term of references, ensure resource availability and allocation, and deliver every component of the projects on time, within budget and scope;
  • Identify potential risks associated with the projects and feasible mitigations to implement;
  • Coordinate internal resources, establish, liaise and maintain effective communication with external partners and stakeholders;
  • Track project performance and work with relevant parties (internal and external) to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables;
  • Resolve problems, identify potential challenges, determine improvements, and implement changes to enhance the quality of the projects and their deliverables;
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentations;
  • Prepare pre, periodic, and post project reports, according to standards and guidelines as set by IAI; and
  • Contribute to IAI’s overall activities and perform other duties as assigned by IAI.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree (equivalent to S-1) in appropriate field of study from respectable university in Indonesia or abroad;
  • Proven background and professional experience in regional/international engagement and project management. Project management related training and/or certification is a plus;
  • Strong understanding of the accountancy profession (local: Indonesia, regional: ASEAN, and international);
  • Strong command of English (speaking and business writing), proficiency in other language(s) is a plus;
  • Proficient with project management software and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on spreadsheet for budgeting purpose.
